When Merlin first started on TV in 2008, I stopped watching after 3 episodes because I thought that there was a better romance between Arthur/Merlin than there ever would be with Gwen/Arthur, and it frustrated me. This year, I decided to watch every episode and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made :)
They are each other’s rock, they are each other’s reason and everything. Which is why I fail to see them with anyone besides each other. I’ve tried Mergana, Merwaine, Armon - ok, really, all those ships have chemistry, but. Merthur. Just. They have the thing. They have the thing that I’ve never seen in another couple before, in all the fandoms I’ve been. They belong to each other, IMO.

Anonymous submitted: When the embrace happened I didn’t think of it as THE EMBRACE, I don’t think I realized that it was this moment I’d been waiting for. I was just squeeling and rolled round in my bed, I was so happy, the smile on Arthurs face when he realized Merlin was alive. And then, a few days later, due to Tumblr, thanks to all YOU guys I realized it was THE EMBRACE. Thank you! All of you.
